The Opportunity

Expeditors is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to lead our distribution centre in Kempton Park, GP. In this role, you'll take ownership of warehouse operations, drive process improvements, and develop your team to deliver exceptional service standards. You'll work within our supply chain network, contributing to seamless logistics delivery across the region. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipment activities
• Lead, train, and manage warehouse personnel to meet performance targets and safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock movements, and maintain accurate warehouse records
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies across the facility
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase productivity
• Communicate with other departments to support order fulfilment and customer delivery schedules
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support team development
• Maintain equipment and coordinate maintenance to minimise downtime

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or distribution centre staff
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
• Demonstrable leadership capabilities and team management experience
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and related technology platforms
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the logistics sector
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational deadlines
• Valid driver's licence preferred
