The Opportunity

As Warehouse Transportation Supervisor at Expeditors in Salt Lake City, you'll manage the daily logistics and flow of goods through our warehouse and transportation operations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse and transportation teams to meet daily volume and performance targets
• Oversee loading, unloading, inventory management, and routing of shipments
• Monitor equipment and fleet utilization; coordinate maintenance and repairs
• Ensure OSHA safety protocols and company compliance standards are met
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Train and develop warehouse transportation staff; manage scheduling and performance
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers, and other departments to resolve operational issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports on warehouse transportation metrics

What You Bring

• 3+ years of warehouse operations, logistics, or transportation supervision experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate warehouse or distribution teams
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards, OSHA regulations, and DOT compliance
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Clear communication and conflict resolution skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary transportation certifications as required
