Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential organization in their search for a Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist based in the Philippines. This role requires 20 hours per week following US business hours, offering the flexibility of permanent remote work.

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to handle financial transaction processing, bookkeeping, and accounts payable activities. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Process invoices and complete posting activities to the general ledger
• Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate processing and posting
• Assist in the preparation of financial institution deposits
• Support account research and audit schedules
• Print checks weekly or as needed and contact vendors regarding invoicing discrepancies
• Reconcile monthly bank, credit card, and loan account statements
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and research inventory discrepancies
• Create and oversee work order instructions for various packs
• Contribute to creating efficient processes and procedures
• Perform other duties and clerical tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience in B2B accounts; startup experience is a plus
• BA/BS required; undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance strongly preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, Excel, and Google Suite is required
• Advanced PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas
• Strong attention to detail with professional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent follow-through skills with the ability to work tactfully, confidently, and ethically
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
• Goal-oriented self-starter with proactive approach and excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in problem-solving, research, and follow-up with both external and internal contacts
• Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings
• Comfortable adapting to rapid changes in a dynamic environment
