KI-Entwickler (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking an AI Developer to join their team in a hybrid capacity based in Munich. In this role, you will:

• Take technical ownership of integrating AI services into existing application and platform architectures, including interface design and operational frameworks
• Sketch architectural blueprints for generative AI solutions and design processes for deployment, monitoring, versioning, and maintenance of production AI systems
• Assume responsibility for developing and maintaining demonstrators for business development, then transitioning them into stable, high-performance production environments
• Lead or contribute to projects with a focus on technical steering, with particular emphasis on quality assurance in data science and prompt engineering
• Establish development standards, toolchains, and governance frameworks for enterprise-wide AI implementation
• Design and deliver internal training sessions to deepen team knowledge and foster continuous learning
• Stay current with generative AI trends through ongoing research and experimentation with emerging tools
• Participate in relevant conferences and deliver presentations as a technical expert and company representative
• Support sales teams in client acquisition through compelling technical solution pitches

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a candidate with:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Several years of experience independently designing AI solutions within complex system landscapes
• Proven experience developing generative AI models and applying them in real-world projects
• Strong coding and software development skills in Python (object-oriented), with expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and familiarity with OpenAI API, Aleph Alpha API, and HuggingFace
• Ideally, experience with probabilistic modeling, text processing and NLP, transformer architectures, conversational AI, stable diffusion, hardware accelerators, physical computing, and operating or fine-tuning local open-source foundation models
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, with creative problem-solving skills
• Experience leading parallel development initiatives including resource and quality management is advantageous
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, with willingness to travel as part of consulting engagements
• High commitment to continuous learning and exploring new tools and technologies
