You'll play a critical role in ensuring operational integrity, managing post-trade processes, and safeguarding participant positions across their exchange infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trade and clearing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across all markets
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and clearing members experiencing operational or system issues, ensuring rapid resolution
• Monitor risk exposure, system performance, and operational controls continuously; escalate critical issues to engineering and risk teams
• Proactively identify operational risks and contribute to development of automated monitoring and exception-handling systems
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct root-cause analyses, and drive post-mortem reviews with actionable improvement plans
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance risk management processes, documentation, and governance frameworks
• Support new clearing and risk initiatives aligned with platform expansion into new trading products

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field
• 5-6 years of experience in listed derivatives, repo, treasury, or OTC markets—ideally at a clearing house, exchange, trading firm, or futures commission merchant
• Strong understanding of clearing processes and operational risk management best practices in regulated environments
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and familiarity with financial technology systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented approach with capability to balance daily operational rigor and long-term strategic risk initiatives
• Bonus: Direct experience with clearing or exchange systems in regulated trading environments

Pay

Our client has indicated a salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 annually, plus equity and benefits. This range reflects current market data and the broad spectrum of experience levels considered for this role.
