Maintenance Technician

What This Role Involves

As a Maintenance Technician with JLL in St. Petersburg, you'll be the backbone of our facilities operations, performing preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your hands-on expertise will directly impact building performance, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders, troubleshooting issues and implementing timely repairs
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and record-keeping
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and supervisors to coordinate larger maintenance projects
• Perform general facility upkeep including lighting, paint, drywall, and safety equipment checks
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, building maintenance worker, or similar role
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, work at heights, and handle tools safely
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Relevant certifications (EPA, HVAC, electrical) a plus
