Electrical Engineering Manager (High Voltage)

Core Duties

• Lead and mentor electrical engineering teams, providing technical guidance and career development
• Oversee design, installation, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage electrical systems and distribution networks
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver results on schedule and within budget
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements across all operations
• Conduct technical reviews, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain system reliability and performance
• Collaborate with operations, facilities, and project management teams on infrastructure initiatives
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and comprehensive safety protocols
• Provide technical expertise for system upgrades, retrofits, and new high-voltage installations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in high-voltage electrical engineering or related technical roles
• 3+ years of proven team leadership or management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, OSHA standards, and industry electrical regulations
• Demonstrated project management capability with attention to safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to operational safety
