JLL is hiring a full-time Mobile Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our team in London, GBR. This is an on-site position serving clients across the Greater London area.

What This Role Involves

As our Mobile Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile air conditioning systems and chiller units across a variety of commercial and industrial settings throughout London. You'll respond to urgent service calls, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibility, requiring both problem-solving under pressure and clear communication with clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Install and commission mobile air conditioning and chiller units at client sites across London
  • Diagnose faults and carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems
  • Respond to emergency service calls and prioritise jobs based on operational urgency
  • Test and calibrate equipment to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records of service work, parts used, and equipment performance
  • Liaise with clients to explain technical issues and recommend maintenance solutions
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience working with mobile air conditioning systems or commercial HVAC equipment
  • A relevant technical qualification in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical engineering
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driving licence and reliable access to transport for attending multiple sites
  • A commitment to safe working practices and understanding of refrigerant handling regulations
  • Excellent customer communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions
  • Physical capability to work at height and handle heavy equipment where required
