Internal Sales Executive

REXEL is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team in Kingston upon Hull, England. This is a full-time position where you will drive customer engagement, manage accounts, and contribute directly to revenue growth in a fast-paced commercial environment.

What This Role Involves

You will serve as a trusted point of contact for customers seeking solutions, managing relationships and enquiries with professionalism and product expertise. Working in our Kingston upon Hull office, you'll handle both inbound customer communications and outbound sales activity, identifying opportunities within our account base and closing deals that align with customer needs. Your day combines telephone and email correspondence, CRM administration, and direct customer interaction—all essential to maintaining REXEL's reputation for service excellence.

Core Duties

• Process and respond to customer enquiries across multiple channels
• Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent, professional communication
• Generate and qualify sales leads; nurture prospects through the sales pipeline
• Prepare accurate quotations and handle order administration
• Manage account information and sales records with attention to detail
• Identify and act on cross-selling and upselling possibilities
• Work collaboratively with operations and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Track activity against sales targets and contribute to departmental KPIs
