What This Role Involves

As a Deli Production Team Member at our Midland location, you'll prepare and produce fresh food items for travelers and customers throughout the day. Working within our Retail Operations division, you'll be central to maintaining the quality, safety, and speed that our customers expect at Pilot Company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain it in working order
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure quality and compliance
• Package and label prepared foods clearly and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized production workspace
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout your shift
• Assist customers with food orders and answer questions about menu items
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and customer service team members

Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout an 8+ hour shift
• Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Customer service mindset and teamwork orientation
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one (if required by state regulations)
