Institutional Relationship Manager (VIP)

Our talent team is representing a confidential institutional cryptocurrency platform with a significant presence across the APAC region. We are seeking an Institutional Relationship Manager (VIP) to develop and manage high-value client relationships in this dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop high-value institutional clients including professional investment firms, asset management companies, quantitative trading teams, and family offices
• Build a consistent client pipeline through industry events, peer referrals, and in-person visits, driving partnerships to closure efficiently
• Develop thorough understanding of each client's trading strategy, capital structure, and product needs, delivering tailored service solutions
• Maintain regular, in-depth engagement with clients to foster long-term trust-based relationships and drive growth in assets under management and trading activity
• Take full ownership of key performance metrics including AUM, trading volume, and revenue contribution for your client portfolio
• Provide consultative product recommendations across spot, derivatives, structured products, and institution-exclusive services based on client investment strategies
• Gather and synthesize institutional client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions
• Stay current on institutional crypto market trends and competitor service strategies, sharing market intelligence internally

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of work experience in the Web3 industry, with hands-on usage or service experience related to major exchanges, wallets, custody solutions, or DeFi products
• Strong ability to quickly identify and qualify target clients, with excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience in managing high-potential client relationships, client service or account operations preferred
• Basic understanding of financial markets, derivatives and risk-return; background in banking, securities or asset management is a strong plus
• Clear KPI and result orientation, comfortable using data to measure and manage performance
• Comfortable with high-intensity work pace and frequent travel for client visits
• Strong self-motivation and resilience, able to drive execution in uncertain environments
• Able to work in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields preferred
