Junior Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI technology firm seeking a Junior Applied AI Engineer in Paris La Défense. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge data science solutions, working on both custom client projects and product development initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Contributing technically to data science projects, including data preparation, modeling, ML engineering, and deployment
• Working on RAG systems, chatbots, NLP applications, and LLM/VLM implementations
• Participating in project management, client relations, and technical decision-making
• Contributing to internal cross-functional projects such as literature reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and training programs
• Continuously developing your skills alongside your team

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• At least one professional experience in data science (internship, projects, etc.) in a demanding or highly technical environment
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with concrete experience implementing these on real-world use cases
• Hands-on technical experience with Deep Learning and Generative AI through internships or projects

• Experience with MLOps, deployment, and monitoring of AI solutions
