About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential metals manufacturing organization seeking a Team Lead – Controlling (m/w/d) in Pforzheim. Our client is part of an international group with approximately 100 employees at this location.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to lead a finance team while driving strategic controlling initiatives in a modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a controlling team, fostering efficient organization and solution-oriented collaboration
• Ensure efficient closing processes and actively manage cross-functional finance initiatives from concept through implementation
• Continuously optimize relevant controlling processes and ensure reliable corporate planning
• Maintain high quality in internal and external reporting, and continuously develop reports and analyses
• Coordinate relevant finance topics and actively shape collaboration with internal and international stakeholders
• Prepare and analyze key KPIs and derive actionable recommendations to support senior management and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or comparable qualification with several years of relevant controlling experience
• Initial leadership experience and strong leadership competencies, combined with enthusiasm for developing employees and teams
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with excellent understanding of business relationships and processes
• Proficient with Excel, SAP R/3, and ideally modern BI systems; high affinity for data-driven controlling and reporting tools
• Structured, independent, and entrepreneurial working style complemented by strong communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on mentality
• Fluent German and English language skills (negotiation-level)

Pay
