About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean-energy technology company preparing for significant European market expansion. This is a working student position (Werkstudent:in) based in Berlin, ideal for analytically-minded business students who want hands-on experience in international expansion strategy and market entry planning.

Our client develops intelligent energy solutions for the electric mobility sector. As they scale across European markets, they need analytical support to evaluate opportunities, build business cases, and lay the groundwork for strategic market entries.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop business cases to evaluate new markets and expansion opportunities across Europe
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify promising target markets in the European region
• Prepare presentations and decision documents for senior management review
• Support process automation and optimization initiatives
• Research regulatory, economic, and cultural frameworks for individual European countries
• Collaborate with international departments and external partners on expansion planning
• Maintain and develop internal tools and databases (e.g., in Odoo) to support expansion planning
• Independently manage smaller projects or sub-tasks within the European expansion strategy

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled student in Business Administration (BWL), Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), or comparable degree program
• Initial experience or strong interest in business case analysis and economic evaluation of new market opportunities
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, particularly for financial modeling and presentations
• Analytical and structured thinking with a numbers-driven approach to problem-solving
• Basic knowledge or interest in coding/AI-assisted coding
• Interest in international markets and business strategy development for European expansion
• Independent, self-driven working style with strong sense of ownership
• Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or BI software (e.g., Odoo, Power BI, Tableau) advantageous
• Programming experience, including with AI support tools, is a plus
