Head of CRO

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health and wellness organization that has experienced significant growth across multiple brand properties. Our talent team is searching for an experienced Head of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to lead experimentation and conversion strategy in a fully remote capacity based in Croatia.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines analytical rigor with commercial awareness and knows how to transform customer behavior data into measurable revenue growth through structured experimentation.

Responsibilities

As Head of CRO, you will own the conversion optimization and experimentation program across our client's portfolio:

• Define and lead the CRO strategy, priorities, KPIs, and experimentation roadmap
• Own the end-to-end experimentation process including research, hypothesis generation, prioritization, test design, execution, analysis, and implementation of winning experiments
• Identify high-impact opportunities across landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, upsells, cross-sells, and post-purchase experiences
• Drive improvement in key commercial metrics: conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, upsell performance, and overall funnel efficiency
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer behavior, identify friction points, and uncover growth opportunities
• Build a systematic experimentation culture focused on sustainable business impact and continuous learning
• Develop CRO reporting and measurement frameworks that clearly communicate experiment results and commercial impact
• Partner with marketing, creative, product, development, analytics, and brand teams to execute optimization initiatives
• Build and develop the CRO team, processes, and capabilities as the organization scales
• Present CRO performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in CRO, experimentation, growth, e-commerce, or a closely related field
• Proven track record building and managing experimentation programs that generated measurable business impact
• Strong understanding of A/B testing methodology, experiment design, statistical significance, and test interpretation
• Deep understanding of e-commerce funnels and customer behavior patterns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial decisions
• Experience working with web analytics, experimentation, and behavioral analytics tools
• Ability to prioritize opportunities based on expected impact, evidence, effort, and business objectives
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Commercial mindset with understanding of how CRO influences revenue, profitability, AOV, and customer value
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing CRO professionals
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €4,000/month net. Our client is open to discussing adjusted compensation based on skills and competencies demonstrated during the interview process.
