Graduate Electronics Engineer – Telecommunications – 2026 start

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking Graduate Electronics Engineers specializing in telecommunications for a 2026 start. Working within multi-disciplinary project teams, you will contribute to real product developments across consumer devices, industrial systems, aerospace, and telecommunications sectors.

With structured mentoring and hands-on support from experienced colleagues, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing electronic systems for diverse applications and products
• Developing analogue and digital hardware, PCB layouts, and FPGA designs using Verilog/VHDL
• Conducting hands-on testing and debugging in laboratory environments
• Participating in all project phases from requirements capture through to final delivery
• Collaborating with software, RF, signal processing, mechanical, and AI engineering teams
• Engaging directly with clients during progress updates and project handover
• Gaining experience in embedded software development (C/C++) and system-level design

You may work on one or more projects simultaneously, rotating through different technical disciplines and roles as you build your expertise.

• An excellent degree or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
• Solid understanding of fundamental electronic theory and principles
• Practical experience through university projects, work placements, or personal initiatives in one or more areas:
  • Analogue electronics (interfaces, RF, power systems)
  • Digital electronics (processors, DSP, Verilog/VHDL)
  • PCB design
• Enthusiasm for designing solutions and troubleshooting complex engineering challenges
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical domains
• Rigorous approach to solving real-world problems
• Determination to grow professionally with mentorship and guidance
