Global VP, Talent Acquisition

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Global VP, Talent Acquisition based in Paris, France. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead the talent acquisition function for a rapidly scaling company operating across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific with a presence in 85 countries.

This role reports directly to the CEO and combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You'll shape the hiring strategy across all functions and levels—from technical experts to go-to-market roles, and from mid-level contributors to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global talent acquisition strategy, aligning hiring plans with business objectives and workforce planning across all regions
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global TA team including regional leads, recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators
• Personally lead executive and C-level hiring initiatives in partnership with the CEO
• Design and continuously improve recruiting processes, workflows, and SLAs to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality hiring experiences
• Own the employer brand and candidate value proposition globally, partnering with Marketing and Communications teams
• Establish TA metrics and dashboards (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline conversion, diversity metrics) and present data-driven insights to executive leadership and board
• Manage the ATS and recruiting technology stack; evaluate and implement new tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience
• Champion diverse and inclusive hiring practices globally with equitable processes across all regions
• Ensure hiring practices comply with local labor laws across all operating countries; manage relationships with external agencies and immigration partners
• Own the TA budget including headcount, technology, agency spend, and employer branding investments
• Act as strategic advisor to hiring managers and executives on organizational design, talent market trends, and compensation benchmarking

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a senior TA leadership role (VP, Head of TA, or similar) at a SaaS or high-growth technology company
• Proven experience building and scaling global TA functions across multiple countries and regions, particularly the US and Europe
• Track record of personally recruiting and closing C-level executives
• Experience operating in a mid-size, fast-growing company environment
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach balanced with strategic, big-picture thinking
• Experience managing distributed, cross-cultural teams
• Natural ability to influence and attract senior executive candidates
• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable building and presenting TA metrics and forecasts to executive leadership and boards
• Deep knowledge of modern sourcing strategies, employer branding, and recruiting technology (ATS, CRM, AI-enabled tools)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to partner effectively with senior executives
• Strong understanding of global employment law and compliance considerations
