DSE – Digital Systems Engineer für ERP / E-Commerce (M/W/D)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital consulting firm specializing in ERP and e-commerce process optimization. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between our client's systems expertise and their growing portfolio of online retail customers.

You will own client relationships from kickoff through implementation, working directly with business owners to transform their operational infrastructure. Your day-to-day includes:

• Conducting discovery sessions to assess current state processes and defining clear implementation roadmaps focused on scalability and automation
• Leading regular build sessions where you configure ERP systems, connect shop platforms, design warehouse logic, and automate workflows alongside client teams
• Planning and executing technical setups between calls, including process mapping, system configuration, and comprehensive documentation
• Providing ongoing support via messaging platforms, screen recordings, and quick-response troubleshooting to keep projects moving forward
• Participating in daily team sync meetings to share learnings, identify blockers, and continuously improve delivery quality

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 12 months of hands-on experience in ERP implementation, process consulting, or technical customer success
• Strong technical and analytical mindset with ability to understand complex system architectures quickly
• Familiarity with programming concepts in Python or JavaScript (not for coding, but for understanding automation logic)
• Proven ability to guide senior stakeholders and hold them accountable to their goals with confidence and clarity
• Experience working across multiple SaaS platforms with demonstrated ability to master new tools rapidly
• Structured problem-solving approach with pragmatic solutions for complex requirements
• Excellent rapport-building skills and ability to communicate at executive level
• Strong follow-through and reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines
• Results-focused ownership mentality with willingness to go the extra mile
• Openness to direct feedback and commitment to continuous personal and professional growth
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
• German language proficiency required for client communication

Highly valued:

• Working knowledge of SQL and JavaScript for data queries and automation scripting

Not a fit if:

• You have less than 12 months relevant experience
• You prioritize remote flexibility over results delivery
• You are unwilling to scale hours during intensive project phases (50-60 hours with fair compensation)
• You prefer passive client support over active consulting and skills development
• You are not receptive to honest feedback and coaching
