Senior Paralegal, Contracts

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential legal technology client in their search for a Senior Paralegal, Contracts to support high-volume transactional work across APAC markets. In this role, you will:

• Manage the intake and first-round markup of investment-related NDAs and commercial contracts, ensuring rapid client turnaround times are consistently met
• Support regional lawyers with first-round drafting and ad hoc legal work, handling volume so attorneys can focus on complex matters
• Set up and coordinate client workflows, manage document portals, and drive contracts through to execution
• Deliver precise, commercially sound contract support that balances speed with attention to detail
• Work alongside paralegals, lawyers, and AI-assisted tools to process pre-transaction contract work at scale

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience working within a transactional or corporate practice group, or an in-house commercial legal team, with hands-on exposure to commercial contracts and investment-related NDA drafting
• High-volume capability: You thrive in deadline-driven environments and can context-switch between competing demands without compromising quality
• Strong legal and commercial judgment: You understand relevant legal concepts and apply them pragmatically, knowing when to escalate and when to resolve independently
• Excellent communication skills: Your written and verbal communication is clear and concise
• Self-starter mentality: You take ownership, identify inefficiencies, and proactively improve team operations
• Private markets exposure: Familiarity with private capital, fund structures, or investor onboarding workflows is a strong advantage
• Tech proficiency: Experience with AI-backed contract review tools, CLM systems, or e-signature platforms is desirable
• Language skills (desirable): Ability to review and negotiate in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin is a plus

Pay
