About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech infrastructure company in Berlin that is transforming how European businesses access capital markets. Our client operates at the intersection of financial services and technology, providing API-driven solutions that enable other companies to offer investment products to their customers.

As a Founder's Associate, you will work directly with senior leadership on strategic initiatives that shape the company's growth trajectory. This is a high-impact role where you will drive cross-functional projects, analyze market dynamics, and help scale internal operations as the organization expands across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Support executive leadership on strategic and operational projects aligned with company priorities
• Lead initiatives related to brokerage, custody, and capital markets infrastructure—this will be a significant focus area requiring domain expertise
• Analyze competitor movements, market trends, and developments across the European investment infrastructure landscape
• Take ownership of special projects that accelerate the next phase of company growth
• Lead and mentor a team of interns, providing structure, guidance, and prioritization while developing their capabilities
• Design and scale internal processes, documentation, and organizational structures, leveraging AI where applicable
• Structure and execute cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams
• Act as an organizational connector by understanding team priorities, identifying gaps early, and facilitating effective collaboration

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in fast-paced environments such as early-stage startups, fintech, consulting, or technology companies
• Background or strong interest in brokerage, trading, or custody operations—you should be excited to dive into technical capital markets details
• Entrepreneurial problem solver who takes ownership and applies analytical rigor and structured thinking
• Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change; you thrive when priorities shift and complex problems need breaking down
• Strong team player who naturally shares knowledge and collaborates effectively
• Exceptional follow-through; you are known for staying on top of deliverables and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Proactive mindset—you identify problems, take initiative, and challenge the status quo rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Fluency in English; German is a plus but not required
