About This Role

We are representing a progressive digital marketing agency in Dortmund that specializes in social-first brand communications. Our client is seeking a Creative Concept Developer who is truly platform-native and understands how brands genuinely perform across social channels—not just how they're supposed to work in theory.

This is a hands-on creative role where you'll own the conceptual direction from briefing to execution, working across campaigns and always-on content for diverse brand clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete creative concepts independently from briefs or content backlogs—defining the core idea, format, storyline, and hook for both large campaigns and ongoing content streams
• Craft platform-specific approaches that reflect the unique mechanics of TikTok, Instagram, and other channels rather than generic cross-posting strategies
• Translate brand identity into social-native communication, including tonality, visual language, and content mechanics
• Write clear, actionable creative briefs that production teams can execute without repeated clarification on fundamentals
• Present concepts to internal teams and clients, defending creative decisions with solid rationale rather than volume
• Consider economic viability—what a shoot or content batch must deliver commercially
• Transition from execution to creative direction as you grow, providing guidance to others while maintaining accountability for results
• Contribute to pitches in varying capacities depending on experience level, from support roles to full ownership of smaller opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience developing concepts for social media or influencer marketing content, ideally in an agency environment
• Demonstrated track record of independently creating concepts—not just supporting others—with portfolio examples of what resulted
• Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and standard platform formats; ability to spot when something isn't platform-appropriate before others notice
• Strong briefing skills—you write documentation that enables production without follow-up questions, rather than loose ideas requiring interpretation
• Confident presentation abilities for both internal and client-facing situations; you defend ideas with arguments rather than insistence
• Pitch experience is advantageous but not required
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level and the client's budget parameters.
