Senior Projektmanager – Social-Media-Marketing (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential marketing agency in Braunschweig seeking a Senior Project Manager for Social Media Marketing. In this role, you will take on a central position in the strategic and operational support of client accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing tailored social media strategies for various brands across multiple platforms with precise audience targeting
• Leading interdisciplinary teams through conception and creative development in a structured, solution-oriented manner
• Serving as the primary client contact for all social media matters across META, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Managing community dialogue and ensuring authentic brand communication
• Concepting, managing, and optimizing paid social campaigns with clear focus on performance and KPIs
• Monitoring platform trends, deriving actionable recommendations, and bringing fresh perspectives to your team and projects

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in social media marketing, ideally agency-side
• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or comparable qualification
• Deep understanding of relevant social platforms (META, LinkedIn, TikTok) including their advertising systems and algorithms
• Confident handling of KPIs, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making
• Proven ability to lead projects and teams with clarity, empathy, and accountability while maintaining composure during high-pressure agency phases
• Proactive mindset—you don't wait for briefs but actively contribute ideas and persuasively present to clients and teams in presentations, workshops, and daily operations
• German language proficiency required for this Braunschweig-based position
