Field Sales Consultant (self-employed) – Sofia

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client expanding its footprint in Bulgaria. They are looking for a Field Sales Consultant to work on a self-employed basis in Sofia, building relationships with small and medium-sized merchants who need modern payment solutions.

This is a commission-based role designed for driven sales professionals who thrive on autonomy, direct client interaction, and uncapped earning potential. You'll manage your own territory, meet business owners face-to-face, and help them accept payments more easily.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own portfolio of small and medium-sized merchants in Sofia, focusing on sectors such as retail, hospitality, and restaurants
• Conduct in-person meetings with business owners to demonstrate payment products and devices, tailoring solutions to each merchant's needs
• Onboard new merchants and support their registration to ensure they can process transactions quickly
• Maintain strong relationships with merchants to keep your portfolio active and engaged, generating recurring income
• Independently plan and manage your assigned territory, track your own activity, and meet monthly activation goals to maintain Partner status
• Respond to feedback, learn quickly from field experience, and continuously refine your sales approach

What We're Looking For

• Experience in B2B sales to small or medium-sized businesses, preferably in retail, hospitality, or similar merchant-oriented environments
• Self-employed status and comfort with a commission-based compensation model with monthly revenue share rather than fixed salary
• Ability to dedicate a minimum of 3 full working days per week to this role
• Confidence in direct door-to-door visits and genuine satisfaction in helping business owners find the right solutions
• Proven track record managing your own portfolio and closing deals independently
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to quickly earn the trust of independent business owners
• Curious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Fluent Bulgarian and working-level English

Compensation
