E-Commerce Product Owner:in (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking an E-Commerce Product Owner to take full ownership of their online shop experience. In this role, you will serve as the central link between product development, operations, and marketing teams.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Own the product roadmap for the webshop, prioritizing features based on measurable business impact and delivering seamless user experiences across all devices
• Drive conversion and customer journey optimization across the entire funnel, from search through product pages to checkout completion
• Take full KPI ownership including conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment, and revenue per visitor, using data to generate testable hypotheses
• Develop intelligent product compatibility filters and bundle mechanics that reduce customer friction and increase basket value
• Lead innovative AI-powered shopping features including guided selling, semantic search, and conversational assistants
• Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear requirements for technical, design, and marketing teams while ensuring release quality

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates with:

• Multiple years of proven experience in transactional e-commerce with documented success in conversion rate and funnel optimization, supported by concrete metrics
• Strong technical and analytics capabilities including proficiency with web analytics platforms, tracking concepts, dashboards, basic SQL knowledge, and solid understanding of modern e-commerce architectures (Shopware, Magento, commercetools, or headless/API approaches)
• Commercial mindset with ability to think in contribution margins and unit economics, ruthlessly prioritizing feature requests by P&L impact
• Excellent eye for intuitive user experience and interface design with commitment to shipping only polished, customer-friendly web applications
• AI-first approach, naturally incorporating AI tools into daily workflow to accelerate analysis, specifications, and experimentation
• Native-level German and excellent English language skills
• Preference for office-first environment and enthusiasm for daily in-person collaboration in a Berlin-Mitte location

Valuable additional experience includes work with complex consumer electronics or technical products, understanding of smart home standards and platform ecosystems, and knowledge of merchandising, pricing interfaces, and margin logic for product sets and bundles.
