Director of Supply Chain

Fujifilm is recruiting a Director of Supply Chain to lead operations at its Billingham facility. This is a full-time leadership position offering the opportunity to shape supply chain strategy and execution across a global manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As Director of Supply Chain, you will own end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement through to logistics and distribution. This is a senior leadership role where you'll drive efficiency, cost management, and service excellence across our Billingham operations and their strategic partnerships. You'll report directly to senior management and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in speed, reliability, and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee procurement operations, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations
• Manage inventory planning, demand forecasting, and warehouse operations
• Lead logistics and distribution network optimisation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process excellence
• Manage supply chain budgets and deliver cost savings
• Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain team
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a supply chain director or equivalent senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Experience with procurement, logistics, and inventory management systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
