Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Freudenberg is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift in Lebanon, Indiana. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead manufacturing operations and drive team performance during evening hours.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift, you'll direct daily manufacturing operations and lead a team of production associates during the evening shift. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll ensure our production facility operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You'll report to plant management and serve as the primary operations leader during your shift, responsible for maintaining output targets, resolving operational challenges, and developing your production team.

What You'll Do

• Oversee production operations and coordinate team activities throughout the 2nd shift
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements
• Monitor production schedules, output metrics, and equipment performance
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues; implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate priorities to the production team
• Document production data, incidents, and performance metrics for handoff to subsequent shifts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
• Enforce company policies and maintain a positive, safety-focused work environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery operation, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and develop team members
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Experience reading technical documentation, blueprints, and quality specifications
• Reliability and flexibility, including willingness to work shift schedules as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or production management training is a plus
