Personal Care Specialist (Part Time)

Green Thumb is hiring a Full Time Personal Care Specialist in Spanish Springs, Nevada. We're building a team of knowledgeable, customer-focused retail professionals to deliver exceptional care and product expertise at our cannabis dispensary.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient and customer consultation and education on products, consumption methods, and safety protocols in our retail dispensary
• Recommend personalized product regimens based on individual customer needs and preferences
• Maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of our product menu and cannabis therapies
• Rotate through various workstations including sales floor, point-of-sale systems, customer check-in, curbside service, order fulfillment, receiving, inventory management, and store maintenance
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and maintain organized stockroom conditions
• Ensure retail compliance with all local and state cannabis regulations and safety standards
• Keep sales floors fully stocked, presentable, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidential customer files and data as required
• Uphold security procedures and safety protocols throughout all work areas
• Support management and team operations to ensure smooth, compliant daily store functions

Who We're Looking For

• One or more years of customer service experience, ideally in specialty or customer-facing retail
• At least 21 years old and eligible to work in the cannabis industry
• Willingness to obtain all required state and local cannabis employment certifications
• Reliable, professional, and dependable with consistent attendance
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Valid driver's license or state identification
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks, including industry-specific requirements
• Strong customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency or willingness to learn point-of-sale systems and retail software
• Physical capability to move about the dispensary, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Cannabis industry experience is welcomed but not required
