What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms by arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control procedures throughout surgical procedures
• Pass instruments, sponges, and other materials to the surgeon and surgical team during operations
• Count and verify surgical instruments and materials before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor surgical equipment function and immediately report any malfunctions or concerns
• Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain comfort and safety
• Respond to the needs of the surgical team with precision and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain certification
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, anatomical terminology, and instrument identification
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sterile technique at all times
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment as needed
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
