Outpatient Registered Nurse – RN

Role Overview

As an Outpatient Registered Nurse with Freseniusmedicalcare in Lexington, you'll be part of a dedicated healthcare team delivering high-quality care in an outpatient clinic environment. You'll work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to manage patient flow, coordinate care, and ensure positive patient outcomes. Core Duties

• Assess patient health status, vital signs, and medical history upon arrival
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Provide patient education regarding health conditions, medications, and post-visit care instructions
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record system
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical team members
• Maintain clean, safe clinical environments and adhere to infection control standards
• Support triage and scheduling processes to optimize clinic efficiency and patient flow
• Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and clinical knowledge

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in South Carolina
• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification (must be current or obtainable)
• Proven clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to clinical documentation and patient safety
