Key Account Manager

Freudenberg is hiring a Key Account Manager to join our Farmington Hills, MI office in a full-time role. You'll own strategic client relationships, drive revenue growth, and serve as the key point of contact for our most important accounts.

Position Summary

As a Key Account Manager at Freudenberg in Farmington Hills, you will develop and nurture relationships with our strategic accounts, identifying opportunities to expand our footprint and deepen our partnership with each client. You'll combine business acumen, industry insight, and consultative selling to deliver solutions that matter. This role requires someone who can think strategically about account growth while remaining operationally excellent in day-to-day execution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, serving as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand evolving needs and market conditions
• Develop and execute account plans that drive revenue growth and market share gains
• Collaborate with internal teams—engineering, operations, customer service—to ensure seamless delivery and resolve client issues
• Negotiate contracts and terms that protect company interests while maintaining strong client relationships
• Forecast revenue and pipeline activity; track KPIs to ensure accountability
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive positioning

What You Bring

• Proven track record in account management or B2B sales, ideally managing strategic or large accounts
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to build rapport and influence at all levels
• Experience with CRM platforms and sales analytics
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
• Consultative selling mindset; you lead with insight, not just price
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
