We're seeking a Customer Service Specialist fluent in Japanese to join Lifted, an Upwork Company™, based in Lima, Callao Region, PE. This is a contract position available to qualified professionals in the region.

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Specialist fluent in Japanese, you'll provide exceptional support to our Japanese-speaking clients and partners. Your role will center on delivering timely, professional assistance across inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and building lasting relationships with customers who rely on clear, culturally responsive communication. You'll be the voice of our company to a key international customer base, ensuring their experience reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries in fluent Japanese across multiple communication channels
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with accuracy and thoroughness
• Document interactions and maintain detailed records of customer communications
• Escalate complex or sensitive matters appropriately while keeping customers informed
• Identify patterns in customer feedback and contribute to service improvements
• Uphold service standards and company policies while advocating for the customer

Who We're Looking For

• Fluent, professional-level Japanese language skills (written and spoken)
• Proven experience in customer service, support, or a related client-facing role

• Excellent attention to detail and written communication in English and Japanese
• Self-motivated, reliable professional who can work independently
