Dexterra is hiring a full-time Drywaller in Beltsville, MD. Join our team to deliver quality drywall installation and finishing work on construction and residential projects throughout the Maryland region.

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Drywaller to install, finish, and repair drywall systems on diverse construction projects. You'll work as part of a skilled trade team, applying precision craftsmanship to every wall, ceiling, and partition. This is a full-time position based in Beltsville, Maryland, with regular work on local projects requiring attention to detail and professional standards.

What You'll Do

• Install drywall, metal studs, and insulation on interior walls and ceilings to specifications
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets using layouts, blueprints, and building requirements
• Apply joint compound, tape, and multiple finish coats to create seamless, smooth surfaces
• Sand, prime, and prepare surfaces for painting and final installation
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts safely and efficiently
• Interpret construction documents and communicate with general contractors and other trades
• Maintain drywall tools, equipment, and organized job sites
• Follow building codes, safety protocols, and quality standards on every project

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience installing and finishing drywall systems professionally
• Proficiency with drywall tools including taping knives, mud pans, screw guns, and sanders
• Ability to work safely from heights and navigate job sites independently
• Strong measurement, cutting, and spatial reasoning capabilities
• Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and safety requirements
• Physical capacity to lift and carry materials regularly, up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Beltsville area
• Valid driver's license preferred; high school diploma or equivalent helpful
