Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair boiler systems and related mechanical equipment to maintain continuous, reliable operation
• Perform routine maintenance and respond promptly to emergency repairs and system failures
• Test boiler controls, safety valves, and pressure relief systems to ensure proper function and regulatory compliance
• Troubleshoot performance issues using technical documentation and hands-on testing methods
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status as required
• Adhere to OSHA standards, facility safety protocols, and all applicable mechanical codes

Who We're Looking For

• Active Maryland Grade 2 Boiler Operator or Boiler Mechanic certification
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing commercial or industrial boiler systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude with hands-on equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Physical capability to perform demanding mechanical work in various conditions
