IT Solutions Architect (Java)

Join Eurofins as an IT Solutions Architect specialising in Java. This remote, full-time role is based from our Iași operations, where you'll design and architect enterprise-scale solutions that drive business transformation.

What This Role Involves

As an IT Solutions Architect, you'll bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation. You'll work with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, and architect robust solutions that meet complex organisational needs whilst maintaining scalability, security, and performance standards. Your expertise will guide both strategic technical decisions and hands-on development efforts across multiple initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive Java-based solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards
• Lead technical assessments, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend solutions to stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure implementation follows architectural principles and best practices
• Mentor and support developers in adopting design patterns and technical excellence
• Create architectural documentation, design specifications, and technical roadmaps
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Work with business units to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions

Who We're Looking For

• Extensive experience designing and architecting Java applications in enterprise environments
• Deep knowledge of Java frameworks, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Strong background in system design, scalability, and performance optimisation
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerisation, and modern DevOps practices
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Leadership experience and capability to mentor technical teams
