Experian is seeking a Product Designer to join our London-based team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Product Designer at Experian, you'll play a key role in shaping intuitive, user-centred products that help our customers succeed.
Position Summary
We're looking for a talented Product Designer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on design expertise. In this role, you'll lead the design of digital experiences, working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and deliver products that solve real customer problems. You'll bring user research insights into the design process, iterate on prototypes, and ensure consistency across our product ecosystem.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design user-centred digital products and experiences, from initial concept through to high-fidelity prototypes
- Conduct and incorporate user research, usability testing, and customer feedback into design decisions
- Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define requirements, scope, and technical feasibility
- Create and maintain design systems, wireframes, and design documentation to guide product development
- Advocate for user needs and best practices in design thinking across cross-functional teams
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and user behaviour data
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer in a digital product environment
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and interaction design skills
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms
- Experience conducting user research and applying insights to product decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and responsive design principles
- Experience working in Agile or similar iterative development environments
