Benefits & Payroll Administrator

Eurofins is recruiting a Benefits & Payroll Administrator to join our HR team, based remotely from Cardiff, Wales, GB. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage critical payroll and employee benefits functions for a global scientific services organisation.

About the Role

This is a key administrative position within our Human Resources department, where you'll take ownership of payroll processing and benefits administration. Working remotely, you'll support our teams across multiple locations, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of payroll services and employee benefits management. You'll combine attention to detail with strong organisational skills, liaising with employees, managers, and external service providers to maintain smooth HR operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Process monthly and ad-hoc payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations
• Administer employee benefits schemes, including pension contributions, health insurance, and other statutory entitlements
• Maintain comprehensive payroll and benefits records, conducting regular audits for accuracy and completeness
• Respond to employee payroll and benefits enquiries, providing clear guidance on policies and entitlements
• Process leave requests, absences, and related adjustments to payroll
• Liaise with pension providers, insurers, and other external benefits partners
• Support payroll compliance with UK employment law and keep up to date with regulatory changes
• Assist with new starter onboarding and leaver administration

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll administration or benefits management
• Strong working knowledge of UK payroll systems and PAYE regulations
• Proficiency with payroll and HR software platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
• Familiarity with data protection and confidentiality requirements
