Role Overview

This part-time faculty position offers the opportunity to design and deliver engaging visual and performing arts courses for adult learners in our WDCE program. You'll inspire and mentor students pursuing creative development in a supportive educational environment across Montgomery County's continuing education community.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and teach visual and performing arts courses tailored to diverse learner needs and skill levels
• Create engaging lesson plans, demonstrations, and hands-on projects that build artistic competency
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals
• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and growth
• Collaborate with WDCE colleagues to support program initiatives and institutional goals

• Professional experience or advanced training in visual arts, performing arts, or a related creative field
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
