Outpatient Therapist – Horizons Mental Health Center – FT

Hrhs is seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist to join Horizons Reno County, where you'll deliver evidence-based mental health care to clients across the lifespan in our outpatient setting. As a member of our clinical team, you'll work in a collaborative, client-centered environment dedicated to improving mental health outcomes in our community.

About the Role

As an Outpatient Therapist at Horizons Reno County, you'll provide direct mental health services to diverse client populations seeking therapeutic support and treatment. You'll conduct individual counseling sessions, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals. Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Develop, implement, and update comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Assess clients for mental health conditions, risk factors, and treatment readiness
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development activities

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related mental health field
• Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, MFT, or equivalent credential required by your state
• Experience providing outpatient mental health services in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and presenting issues
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries
