What You'll Do

• Direct and coordinate the daily work of electrical and instrumentation tradespeople so that planned and reactive tasks are completed on time and to specification.
• Develop and adjust maintenance schedules that align with operational needs and minimise disruption.
• Enforce site safety rules, risk assessments and permit procedures; stop work when conditions fall short of acceptable standards.
• Coach team members on technical best practice, problem-solving and safe behaviours while monitoring individual performance.
• Liaise with engineers, planners and other trades supervisors to clarify priorities, share resources and resolve interfaces.
• Review completed work for quality, raise non-conformances when needed, and contribute ideas that improve reliability or efficiency.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification in electrical or instrumentation disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience supervising trades crews in an industrial or engineering setting.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems together with current safety legislation and site protocols.
• Proven ability to organise workloads, communicate clearly and lead by example.
• Sound problem-solving skills and a willingness to mentor apprentices or less experienced technicians.
