Business Development Manager (Insurance)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential proptech client seeking a Business Development Manager to drive insurance product adoption across their agent network. This is a hybrid role based in Lincoln with realistic first-year earnings potential through base salary plus commission.

You'll work with existing customers to maximize their use of rent protection insurance products, training and developing the agent base while collaborating with insurance and account management teams to identify growth opportunities. Success in this role is measured through sales performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to regulated processes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with current customers to optimize their use of insurance products
• Train and develop agent partners to increase product adoption and portfolio growth
• Collaborate with insurance and account management teams to identify expansion opportunities
• Maintain compliance with regulated processes and industry standards
• Meet sales targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Travel quarterly to additional office locations (travel expenses fully covered)

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in B2B sales, including upselling and cross-selling
• Experience in the lettings industry, ideally at senior lettings negotiator or branch manager level
• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers via phone and face-to-face interactions
• Target-driven mindset with resilience and motivation under pressure
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of FCA-regulated processes is beneficial

Work Arrangement and Pay

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Lincoln office and two days remote working. Quarterly travel to other locations is required with expenses paid. Pay via Get A Job.ai is competitive with realistic first-year on-target earnings of £50,000 through base salary plus commission structure.
