Role Overview

As Assistant General Manager, you'll support store operations and help drive business results at one of the Mid-Atlantic's most recognized convenience store brands. Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll maintain high standards for customer service, manage daily operations, and develop your leadership capabilities in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Core Duties

• Assist in overseeing store operations and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
• Lead, train, and motivate store associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers
• Support cash handling, reconciliation, and loss prevention initiatives
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and visual merchandising
• Address customer concerns and ensure a welcoming shopping environment
• Contribute to scheduling, staffing decisions, and associate development

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven retail or food service management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Physical capability to perform retail duties (standing, lifting, bending)
• Reliable transportation to Store 6129 - Garner, NC
• Customer service excellence and attention to detail
