Position Summary

Wasteconnections is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our 6273-Zero Waste MRF team. In this full-time role, you will operate and maintain heavy machinery to process and manage waste streams efficiently and safely. Working on-site at our Materials Recovery Facility, you'll be part of a professional team dedicated to environmental sustainability and operational excellence in waste management.

Core Duties

• Operate heavy equipment and machinery in accordance with all safety standards and protocols
• Monitor material processing flows and equipment performance during facility operations
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
• Document operational activities and material processing records accurately
• Adhere to all environmental regulations and company safety procedures
• Support material loading and unloading activities as assigned
• Communicate effectively with facility team members to optimize operations
