Role Overview
As an SWD Operator/Technician, you'll oversee the daily operations of saltwater disposal systems, ensuring reliable and compliant handling of produced water from oil and gas extraction. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will directly support our operational excellence and safety-first culture at this Cactus facility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain saltwater disposal equipment and systems throughout your shift
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, injection wells, and related infrastructure
- Record operational data and generate reports in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Respond promptly to system alerts and troubleshoot operational issues
- Follow all environmental and occupational safety protocols to protect personnel and the environment
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth facility operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating or maintaining industrial equipment or similar facility operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work full-time, including potential on-call or rotating shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to environmental compliance and workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
