About the Role

As an SWD Operator, you'll be the backbone of our waste management operations at the Bourg location. This full-time position involves operating and monitoring solid waste disposal systems, ensuring smooth daily operations while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards. You'll work as part of a dedicated team committed to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate solid waste disposal equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor operations throughout your shift and respond promptly to any issues or equipment irregularities
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities, processing volumes, and maintenance needs
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations governing waste disposal operations
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience operating waste management or industrial equipment, or demonstrated willingness to learn
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable, punctual attendance and professional work ethic
