Role Overview
Warnerbros is seeking a dedicated IT Support Professional to join our Cologne team and serve as a key member of our technical support function. This position requires someone who can balance speed with thoroughness, translating complex technical challenges into clear resolutions for end-users across the organisation. You'll combine hands-on troubleshooting with customer-focused communication, ensuring every interaction leaves our colleagues confident and productive.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests from employees across all departments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues with systematic problem-solving
- Manage and prioritise support tickets to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction
- Perform system installations, configurations, and updates on user devices and network infrastructure
- Provide clear technical guidance and documentation to help users work independently when possible
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to escalate complex issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Maintain accurate records of support activity and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar technical support role
- Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, printers, and standard office hardware
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work through problems methodically
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms
- Professional, patient approach to end-user support and customer service
- Relevant IT certification or equivalent practical experience preferred
