What You'll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex, acute, and chronic illnesses
  • Monitor vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond quickly to patient changes
  • Operate and troubleshoot specialized medical equipment and technology
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and families to coordinate individualized care plans
  • Educate families on their child's condition, treatment, and hospital experience
  • Document care accurately and maintain detailed patient records

What We're Looking For

  • Current RN license or ability to obtain one in Connecticut
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking ability and attentiveness to detail
  • Compassion, patience, and genuine commitment to pediatric care
  • Readiness to learn in a structured residency environment
