About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) graduate, you will provide direct patient care in acute care medicine settings with telemetry monitoring and specialty services. You'll be an integral part of the healthcare team, working alongside physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary colleagues to meet the clinical needs of our patients. This role offers mentorship and structured support designed to build your nursing practice from day one.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to clinical changes with sound clinical judgment
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to established protocols and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans
- Document patient care and observations accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and discharge planning
- Practice infection prevention and safety protocols to protect patient and staff wellness
- Advocate for patient needs, dignity, and comfort throughout the care experience
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Dedication to evidence-based nursing practice and patient-centered care
- Willingness to grow professionally in a collaborative healthcare environment
