About the Role

This full-time Registered Nurse (RN) - Graduate position welcomes nurses graduating in December 2025 and May 2026. Every new graduate RN is automatically enrolled in an award-winning, nationally recognized Vizient Residency Program, with onboarding built around competency-based, preceptor-guided, and criteria-based orientation to help you transition confidently from the classroom to the bedside.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care within assigned Medical/Surgical units at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
  • Work alongside an assigned preceptor and complete a competency-based orientation tailored to your unit.
  • Collaborate with physicians, the interdisciplinary care team, patients, and families to support positive outcomes.
  • Apply nursing knowledge across a range of specialties, including Cardiac, Float Pool, Neuro, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Respiratory/Renal care.
  • Document care accurately and uphold established clinical standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026.
  • Eligible for or holding licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Readiness to participate fully in a preceptor-based, competency-driven residency and orientation experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
