Roll Off Driver

Wasteconnections is hiring a Full Time Roll Off Driver to join our 3300-Phoenix West Valley Hauling team. If you're an experienced, safety-focused driver ready to become part of a growing waste and recycling operation in the Phoenix area, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview

As a Roll Off Driver with Wasteconnections, you'll operate and maintain roll-off waste collection trucks, delivering and retrieving containers at jobsites, commercial facilities, and residential locations throughout the Phoenix West Valley region. You'll build customer relationships, handle equipment responsibly, and keep our fleet moving safely and efficiently every day.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks to deliver and pick up containers at scheduled locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Safely load and secure waste materials according to company and regulatory standards
• Interact professionally with customers and coordinate pickup and delivery requests
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and environmental regulations
• Transport materials to appropriate disposal or recycling facilities

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating commercial waste collection vehicles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and vehicle maintenance awareness
• Ability to work independently and meet daily delivery schedules
• Excellent safety habits and commitment to accident-free driving
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
• Professional communication and customer service skills
