Container Delivery Driver

Wasteconnections is hiring a full-time Container Delivery Driver to join our operations team in 2215-Ada. This role offers steady work managing container placement, pickup, and delivery for our residential and commercial customers throughout the region.

Role Overview

As a Container Delivery Driver with Wasteconnections, you'll operate a delivery vehicle to transport and manage waste containers for customers. You'll work independently, interact directly with clients, and maintain safe, efficient operations while building relationships that keep our service running smoothly across the 2215-Ada area.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver, position, and retrieve containers at customer locations on assigned routes
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in safe working condition
• Respond to customer requests and service adjustments with professionalism
• Document deliveries, pickups, and any issues using company systems
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations while on the road
• Meet daily route schedules and time commitments
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating commercial vehicles or light trucks preferred
• Physical ability to lift, push, and maneuver containers regularly
• Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Reliability and punctuality essential for route-based work
• Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions
